Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. His age tells the story: Cool Hand Luke was shot on classic analogue film. Ironically, that's an advantage, as it can achieve a theoretical resolution of around 6k. So when it came to making the new remaster, where the studio pulled the original negatives, restored them and then scanned them in 4k, there was a lot to draw from. As a result, the newly created native 4k master has visual parameters comparable to modern film, and thanks to the quality of the restoration, viewers will see the new transcription, wringing the most out of the filmstrip in terms of detail and, thanks to HDR, in terms of brightness and colour range, in a higher quality than those who were able to see it in cinemas at the time.
