Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

4k REVIEW

Yes. Terry Gilliam's sci-fi classic received a native 4k restoration by Arrow Films scanned from the original 35mm camera negative (OCN), personally supervised and approved by director Terry Gilliam.

Whereas Universal's aging Blu-ray relied on an outdated HD master hampered by edge enhancement and filtered textures, this native 4k presentation on a triple-layer BD-100 disc with Dolby Vision and HDR10 unlocks a striking wealth of fine detail across Gilliam's intricate production design, costumes, and industrial sets. Organic 35mm film grain is faithfully resolved, while HDR deepens shadow delineation and highlight nuance throughout.
