Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

    4k REVIEW

Yes. Close Encounters of the Third Kind was shot on analog 35mm film (with some effects shots created on 70mm). For the film’s 40th anniversary, the studio completely restored the original negative — chemically treated, digitally repaired, and then mastered in 4k. The Ultra HD Blu-ray master is therefore native Ultra HD.
