Do I get native 4K Ultra HD?

Yes. John Woo's opus magnum, Bullet in the Head, underwent a complete 4K restoration from the original negatives last year, resulting in a native 4K master overseen by Shout! Factory. This same master was subsequently licensed by Arrow Video, who dedicated even more care to their new Ultra HD Blu-ray edition. In this limited set, we receive not only a new and undeniably "definitive" transfer of Woo's wartime masterpiece—whose quality, thanks to the exhaustive restoration and remastering, surpasses all previous distribution copies—but also, for instance, the "Festival Cut" on Blu-ray. Unlike the Shout! version, which mixed the new master with lower-quality footage for the Festival Cut, Arrow provides a technically unified presentation sourced from the best existing materials. Ultimately, thanks to Ultra HD and HDR, we are getting Bullet in the Head in a quality never seen before, and one that, given the physical limitations of the original negatives, is unlikely to be surpassed by any future release.
