Do I get native 4K ULTRA HD?

Yes. As the production year suggests, Falling Down was shot on classic 35mm film. This allowed the studio to return to the archival negatives and provide them for a complete restoration. This task was handled by the Arrow Video label, which created a brand-new native 4K master that extracts the absolute maximum from the original analog elements—both in terms of detail and the brightness and color dynamics of the film strip. HDR utilizes the full color gamut of the original 35mm stock, ensuring that we receive the film in the highest existing quality, which is the equivalent of owning a 35mm print. In fact, in terms of both picture and sound, this release surpasses the presentation audiences experienced during its original theatrical run.
