Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Bringing Out the Dead was made back in the 'analog era' when digital intermediates did not yet exist and films were finished photochemically. For its re-release, the studio was therefore able to go back to the original source elements, restore them, scan them anew, and create a native 4K master from this digitization. The Ultra HD Blu-ray thus benefits from a wealth of image information, translating it into a sharp, richly detailed transfer that pushes the capabilities of the film stock to the limit—not only in terms of fine detail reproduction, but also dynamic range, which is maximized by HDR and WCG (Wide Color Gamut). There is no doubt the film has never looked better, and the UHDBD offers its definitive presentation.
