Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
The first Craig Bond film was made under the supervision of film stock, so in terms of theoretical resolution the source material had a lot to go on (35mm film has a theoretical resolution of around 6k). However, for post-production purposes, all material was downsampled to 2k. The master for the UHD presentation is therefore upsampled. Even so, it can benefit from the increase in resolution and from better compression, which leads to better definition of grain and detail. In addition, the transfer has been graded to HDR, which, along with WCG, further supports image quality beyond the capabilities of standard Blu-ray.

Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
The technical story of the second Craig Bond is the same as the first: 35mm film was shot, scanned in 2k, and then all the footage was kept in 2k for post-production. The master for the UHD presentation is therefore upsampled. Even so, it can still benefit from the increase in resolution and from better compression, resulting in better definition of grain and detail. In addition, the transfer has been graded to HDR, which, along with WCG, further supports image quality beyond the capabilities of standard Blu-ray.

Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins shot Mendes' Bond film on digital cameras from Arri and RED at a combined resolution of 5k and 2.8k. He then combined the daily footage for post-production on a native 4k master. The Ultra HD Blu-ray thus benefits not only from a tremendous increase in fine detail, backed by Deakins' technical precision, but also from the format's other advantages (h.265 compression, HDR, WCG), leading to a definitive representation of Craig's third Bond film and a transfer that's closer to the creator's vision than ever before - and better looking than ever, too.

Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Spectre is partly repeating the technical story of Skyfall. Cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema used several types of digital cameras in the shoot, from the Arri Alexa XT to the large format Arri Alexa 65 to the Red Epic Dragon, whose combined resolutions from 2.8k to 4k to 6.5k came together in 4k post-production. UHDBD thus has a native 4k master as a base, the resolution of which can provide not only a higher quality of video than Blu-ray can handle, but also a more impressive image thanks to the combination of WCG and HDR, with which brightness and colour come alive beyond the capabilities of a standard Blu-ray edition and even beyond the technological capabilities of cinema projection. Craig's Bond is unlikely to look any better than it does on UHDBD.

Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Production on Daniel Craig's final James Bond outing employed several rare large-format cameras shooting on good old-fashioned motion picture film—including 65mm stock! Panavision Panaflex Millennium XL2 and Studio cameras were joined by IMAX MKIV and IMAX MSM9802 cameras, purpose-built for IMAX productions. All raw footage from these 65mm film elements—whose theoretical resolution exceeds 10K—alongside standard 35mm anamorphic footage was brought together in post-production onto a 4K digital master. The source master is therefore native 4K, and given the caliber of the capture formats, nothing less than an absolute reference-grade image can be expected from No Time to Die: the Ultra HD Blu-ray capitalizes on the immense resolution of the source elements, the wide exposure latitude of film stock, and its rich color rendition. When all of that converges on a disc featuring Ultra HD, HDR (including Dolby Vision), WCG, and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, it is clear this release deserves top technical marks across the board.
