Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. A glance at its release year confirms that Spike Lee's film was shot on traditional 35mm analog motion picture stock and finished photochemically. For its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release, the studio was therefore able to go back to the original camera negatives, carry out a full restoration, and create a fresh native 4K master from a new scan. The transfer extracts the absolute maximum from the original elements in resolution, color, and luminance range—the latter two elevated several levels above any previous print or home video release thanks to HDR. Do the Right Thing thus looks better on UHDBD not only than on any prior home format, but even than it did during its original theatrical run. As is often the case with catalog restorations, this is the film's ultimate presentation, and it will almost certainly never look better.
