One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

Yes. Milos Forman's Academy Award-winning 1975 masterpiece One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was shot through Panavision lenses on classic 35mm analog film and finished entirely photochemically. Marking the film's 50th anniversary, Warner Bros. returned to the original 35mm camera negatives, scanning and painstakingly restoring them in 4k. This 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray is therefore sourced from a brand-new native 4k master and, thanks to its placement on a triple-layer BD-100 disc, enjoys first-rate bitrate headroom and compression. The addition of WCG and HDR-10 delicately enriches highlight detail across the stark white hospital interiors, refines skin tones, and preserves the organic structure of the film grain—representing a massive leap over the aging Blu-ray. International reviewers are raving about the transfer, confirming that Forman's classic will never look better.
