Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Yes. Director Scott Cooper and his longtime cinematographer Masanobu Takayanagi shot the biographical music drama Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere—chronicling the making of Bruce Springsteen's landmark acoustic album Nebraska—on large-format Arri Alexa digital cameras (Alexa 65 and Alexa Mini LF) at native resolutions of 4.5k to 6.5k paired with vintage Panavision lenses, finishing post-production entirely in 4k (4k DI). Presented on a BD-66 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, the native 4k transfer stands out for its wonderfully filmic rendering of raw New Jersey interiors, worn denim, acoustic guitars, and the four-track TEAC tape recorder. Dolby Vision and HDR-10 deftly balance the muted early-1980s color palette against the deep contrast of the black-and-white 1950s flashback sequences, all accompanied by an authentic Dolby Atmos musical mix.
