Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

Yes. Peter Medak's atmospheric 1980 haunted-house horror starring George C. Scott was shot on classic 35mm analog film (using Panavision cameras) and finished photochemically without a digital intermediate. For its 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray release, the original 35mm camera negatives underwent a 4k scan and meticulous digital restoration supervised directly by director Peter Medak. The resulting native 4k master delivers a huge leap over previous HD editions in resolving the wood paneling, antiques, and dusty textures of the sprawling Victorian mansion. HDR-10 and WCG play a vital role in deepening the gothic shadows, sharpening flickering light highlights, and preserving natural 35mm grain structure, ensuring this horror classic will never look better on home video.
