The Firm

Yes. Looking at the age of the film, it's clear that it was made at a time when the complete post-production process was still done in analogue, and therefore digital intermediate did not interfere with editing or distribution. This allowed the studio to go back to the original 35mm negatives, whose theoretical resolution is probably as high as 6k, restore, scan, digitally clean, re-grade and then create a new native 4k master. Taking into account the fact that according to foreign reviews the video is softer in places (probably due to the interference in the night scenes and the etching of the opening credits), it is clear that UHDBD makes the most of the original theatrical film, and therefore that the film will probably never look better - this is its new reference image.
