Yes. This modern classic and one of the most iconic thrillers of the 1990s underwent a complete restoration of its original 35mm camera negatives and received a brand-new 4K master a few years ago. The entire creation process was overseen and approved by the film's cinematographer, Newton Thomas Sigel. This gives us absolute certainty that the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray transfer presents the movie exactly as the filmmakers intended, and in the highest possible technical quality, as the UHD format extracts the absolute maximum from the source materials. The Usual Suspects is thus delivered to our home theaters in a presentation that surpasses all previous distribution formats, including the original analogue theatrical projections from the time of its release.
