* This is a new television dub. The original Czech dub could not be used for technical reasons. David Šnobl from MagicBox explains further: "As you surely know, 'The Green Mile' is a film that has been inexplicably missing on the BD format in our market. Unfortunately, in almost every instance where a top title is missing from the market, there is an underlying issue preventing its release. In most of the world, 'The Green Mile' is distributed by Warner Bros. However, this is not the case for the Czech and Slovak markets, where the rights are currently held by Universal, whose HD master does not sync with the original dub used on the DVD master. For this reason, the studio commissioned a new dub (primarily for TV), which we had to pair with the supplied video master. Since this was the only way to release the BD locally at all, we hope fans of the original dub will understand."
