The Ten Commandments 4k, Steelbook

Yes. Furthermore, one can expect one of the most impressive transfers of the year from this disc. The Ten Commandments was shot on classic analog VistaVision, which is 35mm film stock that runs horizontally, thus utilizing more surface area on the film strip than standard 35mm. The studio restored these materials in a corresponding 6k resolution, in which the film was completely cleaned and prepared for a modern presentation. The subsequent native 4k master logically has plenty to draw from, both in terms of detail and its color and brightness aspects. VistaVision was known for its impressive color rendition, which is precisely something that excels in HDR. Therefore, the Dolby Vision layer has more than enough visual information to provide a reference-quality viewing experience in every respect. Thus, The Ten Commandments arrives on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray in its ultimate form, and it is highly probable that it will never look better.
