Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Snyder's Watchmen was shot on analog Super 35 film, though subsequent digital post-production was completed in 2K, which was also the resolution of the final master. For UHDBD, the video is therefore upsampled—a fairly common occurrence, since the main benefits of the new format are generally considered to be superior compression, an expanded color space, and a deeper luminance range. In Watchmen's case, HDR is used to darken the overall image, which may even appear desaturated compared to the BD. Furthermore, the film is presented on the disc in its "Ultimate Cut," the longest of all the alternative cuts, which weaves animated sequences into the Director's Cut beyond the theatrical version.
