Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Unlike the first two installments, the third X-Men film was finished in post-production using a 2K Digital Intermediate, from which the final master was subsequently created. For the Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation, the transfer is therefore upsampled. However, the main benefit of the new format lies in the expanded color palette and luminance range, which is especially true for an action fantasy like X-Men. On UHDBD, the film thus benefits primarily from HDR and WCG.
