Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

The Predator was shot using the usual digital suspects—Arri Alexa XT and Mini cameras—whose 3.4K footage was downsampled to 2K for post-production, the resolution at which the final master was completed. For Ultra HD Blu-ray, the transfer is therefore upscaled; however, as always with the new format, the expanded color palette matters more than raw resolution, and in The Predator's case, it is above all the video's ability to deliver deep blacks and a wide luminance range springing from them. After all, a large portion of the film takes place in the dark, where HDR always comes in handy.
