Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Bad Times at the El Royale was, somewhat surprisingly, shot on analog 35mm motion picture film. It was subsequently scanned and finished in 4K, giving the final master that same resolution. The Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation therefore originates from native 4K. Furthermore, the film was graded for HDR, which on UHDBD—alongside standard HDR10—relies on the new HDR10+ format, a standard akin to Dolby Vision that carries a layer of dynamic metadata in addition to static metadata. Bad Times at the El Royale makes history as the very first title released with this type of HDR.
