Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Tarantino is a huge devotee of celluloid, so it comes as no surprise that he shot his latest feature on 35mm motion picture film (interspersed here and there with 8mm and 16mm footage). The film was subsequently scanned and finished in 4K, giving the final master a native 4K resolution as well. The Ultra HD Blu-ray transfer therefore has plenty to draw from, and thanks to its higher resolution and superior compression, it offers slightly sharper and finer detail reproduction with better grain definition than standard Blu-ray. Added to this are the expanded luminance range and color palette of HDR and WCG—technical advantages of the modern format that Blu-ray, restricted to SDR and Rec.709, cannot match, and that most standard theatrical projections cannot come close to either. It is safe to say that, technically speaking, the UHDBD is the finest audiovisual presentation of the film.
