George Roger Waters (* 6 September 1943, England) is a British rock musician, singer, and songwriter. He gained fame as a member of Pink Floyd between 1965–1985, where he played bass guitar, sang, and later became the band’s primary songwriter. After leaving Pink Floyd, he continued with a solo career, releasing three studio albums and one soundtrack.
