Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Apollo 13 was shot on traditional 35mm motion picture film, which was scanned at 4K for home video release. The master is derived from this 4K scan, even though the visual effects naturally topped out at 2K resolution. International reviews hail the Apollo 13 transfer as another remarkably successful catalog release that outperforms the original Blu-ray edition in both fine detail rendering and color reproduction. Furthermore, the film has been remixed into DTS:X, an audio upgrade that reviewers praise just as enthusiastically.
