Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Eastwood shot Cry Macho much like his previous films, using variants of Arri Alexa digital cameras whose raw capture resolution starts at 2.7K and up. However, Cry Macho was finished in 2K, meaning the title is upsampled for its UHD presentation. Seasoned 4K enthusiasts rarely mind this nowadays, knowing that even a disc sourced from a 2K master can deliver firmer detail reproduction than a standard Blu-ray, while a well-compressed transfer is further bolstered by HDR—guaranteeing the finest technical presentation of the film to date. In other words: Cry Macho could not have looked any better even in theaters, and given the nature of its digital master, it will never look better than it does on UHD.
