Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The Many Saints of Newark rides the wave of a new Hollywood trend in which major productions are shot on the latest LF models of Arri Alexa digital cameras. These are large-format cameras with a native capture resolution of 4.5K and top-tier imaging characteristics. When the film is subsequently finished in 4K—as is the case with this feature, which boasts a native 4K master—the distribution copy extracts the absolute maximum from the visual qualities of that capture. Consequently, nothing less than reference-grade picture quality can be expected from The Many Saints of Newark, backed alongside its impressive resolution by the UHD format's standard duo of expanded color and luminance range: WCG and HDR.
