Do I get native 4K ULTRA HD?

Yes. Excalibur has already seen numerous home entertainment releases, but it is this Ultra HD Blu-ray edition that finally brings it into our home theaters exactly as the filmmakers intended: for the very first time, the film is presented in its original 1.66:1 aspect ratio. And that is not all. Arrow Video truly went above and beyond with this Ultra HD presentation. The newly restored 35mm camera negatives were given a 4K 16-bit scan by Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging, followed by a brand-new color and HDR grading. The audio features both a restoration of the original stereo track and a modern six-channel remix, all presented on a flawless UHD transfer. Thanks to the triple-layer disc (BD-100), the video encoding has more than enough breathing room to ensure the compression never stumbles for a single moment. We are thus receiving this fantasy classic in its ultimate technical quality, extracting the absolute maximum from the original analogue elements in terms of both picture and sound. You can rest assured the film has never looked better—and it never will.
