Do I get native 4K ULTRA HD?

Guy Ritchie shot *King Arthur* on the Arri Alexa XT, a digital camera widely used by Hollywood productions, which typically captures at 3.4K. As with many other films, the final master was finished at 2K during post-production, meaning the Ultra HD Blu-ray comes from an upscaled source. However, since the film was also graded for Dolby Vision presentation, it benefits greatly from WCG and HDR. International reviews praise the transfer’s ability to maintain deep black levels while allowing brighter elements to stand out. The film’s contrast is therefore slightly enhanced, improving light detail. Still, the transfer stays faithful to the filmmakers’ intent, preserving Mathieson’s grounded colour palette and the overall dark tone of the image.
