Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

Yes. Jamie Lee Curtis's 1998 anniversary return as Laurie Strode was shot entirely on 35mm analog film using Panavision anamorphic lenses. For this Ultra HD Blu-ray release, Paramount struck a new 4k scan from the original camera negative graded in both HDR-10 and Dolby Vision. Compared to the dated, digitally smoothed old Blu-ray transfer, the 4k presentation is a massive leap forward: the image finally breathes with an organic film grain structure, reveals noticeably sharper fine detail in facial close-ups and the autumn exteriors of the California boarding school, and leverages HDR to deliver far deeper blacks and cleaner shadow delineation during the crucial nighttime sequences with Michael Myers.
