Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Given the film's age, it should come as no surprise that Gremlins was shot on 35mm motion picture film. The studio was therefore able to return to the original elements, restore them, and scan the repaired material in 4K to create a native 4K master. Beyond the higher resolution—and thus superior fine detail rendering and grain definition compared to the Blu-ray, which was never even released locally—the film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray benefits from an expanded color gamut and luminance range. As always, the format extracts the absolute maximum from the celluloid medium, presenting Gremlins in better quality than audiences saw in theaters decades ago.
