Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

The filmed production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's landmark Broadway musical was captured live at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in 2016 using nine Arri Alexa Mini and Alexa SXT digital cameras. Post-production and the final master were completed at 2k resolution, from which this triple-layer BD-100 presentation is upsampled. Even without a native 4k master, Hamilton looks magnificent on Ultra HD Blu-ray: the generous HEVC bitrate on the 100GB disc effortlessly banishes the compression artifacts of the Disney+ stream, while Dolby Vision, HDR-10, and Wide Color Gamut bring out the full drama of the theatrical stage lighting, piercing spotlight beams against dark backdrops, and the rich textures of the period costumes. Paired with a dynamic Dolby Atmos track, this is the definitive home presentation of the Broadway phenomenon.
