Do I get native 4K Ultra HD?

Lawrence’s post-apocalyptic horror film was made in 2007, so it comes as no surprise that this CGI-heavy production was finished on a 2K master. In terms of resolution, this is therefore an upscale to 4K, despite the fact that the film was shot on 35mm analog film. As is usually the case with such catalog titles, the UHDBD benefits mainly from an expanded brightness and color palette as well as more efficient compression. It can safely be said that the film will never be available in better quality, as the UHDBD is almost a 1:1 copy of the final master. International reviews partially support this claim, stating that the UHDBD offers slightly better detail than the Blu-ray. The film also benefits from significantly improved black levels thanks to HDR.
