Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

4k REVIEW

Yes. I Know What You Did Last Summer was made before Hollywood's digital transition, meaning it was shot on classic 35mm analog film and finished photochemically from start to finish. Knowing that earlier home video editions left plenty to be desired, Sony Pictures returned to the original 35mm camera negatives for its 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray debut—restoring and scanning them in 4k to build a brand-new native 4k digital master worthy of a premier audiovisual presentation (complete with a newly remixed Dolby Atmos soundtrack).

The new transfer sits several leagues above every prior home release, letting fans experience I Know What You Did Last Summer in ultimate quality that even surpasses vintage 1997 theatrical prints. International reviews praise everything enthusiasts look for in a Sony UHDBD catalog release: tack-sharp clarity and rich fine detail, authentic 35mm filmic texture, terrific HDR grading, rock-solid encoding, and an equally impressive audio mix—bordering on full reference quality across the board. The film has never looked better.
