Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

The Forever Purge represents the current Hollywood standard, where most productions are shot on Arri Alexa Mini digital cameras (in this case, raw footage was captured in 4.5K), a resolution that under normal circumstances would suffice for a native 4K master; however, the entire post-production pipeline was completed in 2K. For the UHD presentation, the material is therefore upsampled. Compared to a standard BD, it is of course still a major leap forward, which the transfer owes not only to the slightly higher resolution over Full HD, but primarily to the larger disc capacity and superior HEVC compression. Moreover, nighttime horror films benefit immensely from the presence of HDR, which pushes the audiovisual quality beyond the limits of standard digital theatrical projection despite the "low master resolution." This is therefore the ultimate form and quality of this thriller.
