Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. All three original Mad Max installments were made when films were shot exclusively on analog stock—specifically traditional 35mm motion picture film. Ahead of the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release, the studio was therefore able to reach into its archives, retrieve the original negatives, fully restore them, scan them in 4K, perform digital cleanup, and create a brand-new native 4K master for digital distribution. Consequently, there is no doubt that Mad Max looks not only as good as it did upon its original release, but quite possibly even better thanks to modern scanning and display technologies. And since the combination of 4K and HDR extracts nearly the maximum from the source elements, it is safe to say Mad Max will never look any better. Viewers should naturally expect some minor visual imperfections inherent to the film's age and analog production/post-production, but as a rule, remasters of analog-shot films look magnificent, and Mad Max is no exception. If you appreciate the organic visual character of celluloid, you are in for a treat.
