Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Like the previous installments, the third Mission: Impossible film was shot on 35mm film. Unlike its predecessors, however, it underwent digital post-production finished at a 2K master. A higher-resolution copy therefore does not exist, and the master is upsampled for the Ultra HD presentation. Even so, a modest uptick in fine detail rendering can be expected, thanks in part to superior compression. Above all, the main strength of the new transfer alongside resolution is the expanded color and luminance space, which better captures the dynamic range of the original film stock.
