Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The filmmakers wanted to shoot Pokémon in a film-noir style, to which film grain is indispensable. They therefore shot Detective Pikachu on 35mm motion picture film and scanned it in 4K. Although the digital effects were subsequently rendered in 2K (albeit unconfirmed), the resulting transfer comes from a native 4K master that also takes full advantage of HDR. Detail reproduction looks slightly different from typical native 4K masters because the creators softened the sharpness using additional filters. However, that choice is purely part of the artistic intent and has nothing to do with the technical specifications.
