Resident Evil 4k | Steelbook

Yes. Helmed by director Zach Cregger and cinematographer Dariusz Wolski, the new horror reboot of the Resident Evil franchise was captured on state-of-the-art Sony CineAlta Venice 2 digital cameras paired with vintage Panavision 65 glass. Recording raw footage at 6k to 8k resolution with exceptional dynamic latitude, the production completed all post-production and its final master in native 4k. True to form, Sony spared no bit-budget and housed the film on a triple-layer BD-100 disc featuring WCG, HDR-10, Dolby Vision, and a reference-grade Dolby Atmos soundtrack. On 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray, the dark, rain-slicked streets and claustrophobic interiors of Raccoon City come alive with impeccable shadow delineation, razor-sharp fine detail, and uncompromising compression that neither streaming nor standard theatrical projection can match.
