Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Although Fast & Furious was shot on analog cameras—meaning the theoretical resolution of the film stock could be substantially higher—the scanning, digital effects, and entire post-production pipeline were completed in 2K, making the master for Ultra HD Blu-ray an upsample. Even so, it can deliver better grain definition and fine detail rendering, primarily thanks to superior compression. Above all, the new format brings a major leap in color and luminance reproduction. Thanks to the combination of these technologies, it is safe to say that the fourth Fast & Furious film has never looked better—and given the limitations of the source material, it never will.
