Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Like all films made before the era of digital cinematography, Stand by Me was shot on traditional 35mm motion picture film. The studio was therefore able to return to the original negatives, restore and digitally clean them, and create a new 4K digital master. The Ultra HD Blu-ray thus features a native 4K transfer, offering a substantial boost in fine detail rendering as well as more faithful film grain reproduction. In addition, the disc naturally benefits from HDR's ability to tap into the generous exposure latitude of film stock. The video delivers more dramatic dynamic range complemented by a wider color palette, preserving the organic feel of celluloid while extracting the maximum amount of visual information, making the Ultra HD Blu-ray the definitive home video edition of the film.
