Sully

Yes, and it is reference-grade material. Under Clint Eastwood's direction, cinematographer Tom Stern shot on the Arri Alexa 65 and its modified counterpart, the Arri Alexa IMAX. The sensors on these cameras are the digital equivalent in size to 65mm film stock, capable of capturing an immense amount of visual information. As a result, Sully was shot in a massive 6.5k resolution. Crucially, the digital intermediate operated in 4k—and better yet, Sully is one of the rare films whose VFX were also finished in 4k. From source capture right through to the digital effects, this is true native Ultra HD that delivers a fascinating visual experience. The only minor pity is that the film is presented at a constant 2.39:1 aspect ratio rather than expanding the IMAX-shot sequences to full screen (as seen in The Dark Knight, for instance). Still, that has no bearing on image quality. International reviews praise the UHDBD for its impeccable fine detail rendering and nuanced HDR grading, both of which reportedly yield a virtually flawless, hyper-realistic image.
