Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Information regarding the native master for the third Conjuring film varies, but since raw footage was captured at 2.8K, its resolution almost certainly topped out at 2K. With horror films of this style, however, what matters far more is how the transfer handles luminance gradations, black levels, contrast, and compression—and in these areas the Ultra HD Blu-ray holds a clear edge thanks to its larger disc capacity, HEVC encoding, and the expanded color and luminance spaces of WCG and HDR, which are tailor-made for such material and enable the UHD transfer to achieve a level of quality that even theatrical projection could not match.
