Do I get native 4K Ultra HD?

Yes. Given the production nature of all three seasons of The Mandalorian released so far, one can expect nothing less than reference-grade quality. The self-contained environment of a fully digital—yet not purely virtual—production, where the series is shot on digital cameras in front of massive LED walls, allows for absolute control over every technical detail of the audiovisual work. From sharpness and lighting to color consistency, everything is 100% under control thanks to what is known as "The Volume." These gigantic LED walls, which project real-time CG environments (unlike a traditional greenscreen where the image is keyed in post-production), were made famous by The Mandalorian. This still-emerging filming method provides not only technical precision but also significant creative freedom and flexibility. Furthermore, unlike working with green screens, "The Volume" allows actors to feel as if they are on a physical set, albeit only to a certain extent.
