The Running Man 4k, Steelbook

Yes—and you can expect nothing less than an audiovisual tour de force! Directed by visual perfectionist Edgar Wright, this propulsive new adaptation of Stephen King's novel The Running Man was shot by his go-to cinematographer Chung-hoon Chung (Oldboy, Last Night in Soho) on state-of-the-art Arri Alexa 35 digital cameras capturing 4.6k raw footage with extraordinary dynamic range. Post-production and final mastering were completed entirely in native 4k. Housed on a triple-layer BD-100 disc with HDR-10 and Dolby Vision, the presentation draws on a true native 4k master to serve up uncompromising sharpness, immaculate compression, and dazzling interplay of light and color—from the garish broadcast studios of a dystopian reality show to bleak industrial exteriors. Add an aggressive, spatially pinpoint Dolby Atmos mix (a hallmark of Wright's filmography) and you have a reference disc that outclasses most theatrical screenings and streaming alike.
