Thunderbolts* 4k, Steelbook

Yes. Director Jake Schreier's Marvel antihero team-up Thunderbolts* was shot by cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo (The Green Knight) on large-format IMAX-certified Arri Alexa Mini LF and Arri Alexa 65 digital cameras capturing raw footage at 4.5k to 6.5k. Unlike earlier Marvel productions that routinely capped out at a 2k post-production pipeline, Thunderbolts* went through a full 4k DI workflow, allowing the 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray to draw directly from a native 4k master. Better still, the film embraces a noticeably grittier, more tactile visual style anchored by practical locations and real stunt work—qualities that play wonderfully to native 4k resolution. Combined with HDR (both HDR-10 and Dolby Vision), Wide Color Gamut (WCG), and a punchy Dolby Atmos track, the disc delivers razor-sharp fine detail, deep blacks, and taut contrast that effortlessly outshine streaming in any home theater.
