Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

The long-delayed video game adaptation was shot on what is now a somewhat lower-tier Hollywood standard: a combination of Arri Alexa Mini and Alexa SXT Plus digital cameras, whose raw footage was generally captured at 3.4K resolution. Due to the complexity of the digital effects, this footage was subsequently finished in 2K during post-production. The master used for the UHDBD is therefore upsampled. Fortunately, this doesn't really matter, as we know from the nature of high-end digital productions that upsampled material following a 3.4K -> 2K -> 4K pipeline looks virtually indistinguishable from native Ultra HD on a well-authored disc. Moreover, the already high-quality video on the disc is elevated another notch by the combination of WCG and HDR, pushing the presentation beyond the capabilities of any standard multiplex. We can therefore enjoy Uncharted at home in better quality than in theaters, making this disc the best possible way to experience the film.
