Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

The Mummy was shot on classic 35mm film, which the studio restored and remastered to create the foundation for a 4K master. The Ultra HD Blu-ray transfer thus benefits from an increase in resolution over the BD, with fine detail rendering softening only during digital effects shots, which were most likely rendered in 2K and cut back into the negative. Naturally, HDR and WCG also bring an enormous benefit. According to international reviewers—whose reactions we can confirm after our own viewing—the transfer can be praised as extremely successful, boasting an astonishing sense of detail reproduction. At the same time, the UHDBD preserves the qualities of the original film stock, making this likely the definitive audiovisual presentation of the film, which given its source material will never look any better.
