Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Waterworld was shot before digital intermediates or digital cinema cameras existed. It was captured on traditional 35mm motion picture film, which the studio was able to pull from its archives and scan in 4K for restoration. As a result, the Ultra HD Blu-ray comes from a native 4K master that extracts substantially more fine detail as well as color and luminance information from the analog film strips—qualities the Ultra HD Blu-ray puts to full use through WCG and HDR. The disc thus represents the ultimate audiovisual presentation of the film, which in all likelihood will never sound (newly remixed in DTS:X) or look any better.
