Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The second big shark adventure with Jason Statham was shot through the lens of Sony CineAlta Venice digital cameras, which are currently considered one of the best digital cameras in the film industry. Their full frame sensor records in 6k, so the native 4k master definitely has a lot to draw from. With a great eye for detail, it already looks good and sharp on Blu-ray, so perhaps a little surprisingly, you can expect an upgrade from UHD especially in brightness and colour - underwater sequences in particular are much better rendered thanks to a deeper colour palette and greater brightness range. Classically, this is also helped by higher quality HEVC compression.
