Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The modern classic Almost Famous was shot on good old-fashioned analog 35mm motion picture film—and crucially, it was also finished photochemically. This made it easy for the studio to go back to the original camera negatives, scan them in gorgeous 4K, and create a native 4K master for its Ultra HD presentation. Thanks to this 4K transfer, the film looks better than ever before, driven by both its exceptional sharpness and fine detail rendering and the ability of HEVC compression to resolve film grain more naturally. The capacity of HDR and WCG to extract the maximum luminance and color information from the source elements is the icing on the cake. Almost Famous has truly never looked better—not even in theaters.
