Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Batman v Superman was shot across several formats and cameras: 16mm, (predominantly) 35mm, and 65mm film stock, supplemented by a small amount of 3.4K digital footage plus several IMAX sequences. Crucially, all of these elements were conformed to a native 4K master, allowing the Ultra HD Blu-ray to draw upon the maximum amount of visual information.

For this new "Ultimate Edition," BvS was also completely remastered, bringing several major changes compared to the original UHD release: the film underwent a new color grade, and thanks to WCG (Wide Color Gamut) the transfer delivers truer colors that are slightly richer and more natural than the original presentation; in addition, it features superior compression, resulting in improved sharpness, fine detail rendering, and more faithful grain reproduction; on top of all that, the film is presented in its IMAX version, meaning the sequences shot on IMAX cameras and projected full-screen in IMAX theaters appear on the disc in their native aspect ratio (1.43:1), offering not only more image information but better detail reproduction overall.

Compared to the original UHDBD edition—which, remember, was one of the very first of its kind and therefore not yet able to harness 100% of the format's capabilities—this represents a striking leap in visual quality: the transfer is sharper, features better and more natural colors, the HDR is more impactful while preserving finer color nuances, and the compression handles data-heavy scenes vastly better—BvS looks substantially better in this new version. The IMAX scenes in their original aspect ratio are the icing on the cake.
