Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Given that The Blues Brothers celebrates its fortieth anniversary upon its UHDBD release, it comes as no surprise that the film was made without any digital intervention—entirely photochemically on 35mm motion picture film. This allowed the studio to return to the original negatives, restore them, scan them in 4K, thoroughly clean them, and create a native 4K master that extracts the absolute maximum from the original analog elements—not only in terms of fine detail, but also color and dynamic range, which the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format fully exploits. As is customary with catalog releases on UHDBD, this disc delivers the ultimate technical version of the film, looking better than it did even during its original theatrical premiere—and it will never look any better.
